As the festive season of Christmas Eve and New Year approached, our team embarked on thorough preparations for a heartwarming outreach program dedicated to the communities near our office at Rasak Onilu Plaza, adjacent Niger Motel, along Niger Road in Ilorin, Kwara State.
With meticulous planning ahead of time, each member of the team dedicatedly and skillfully came together, ensuring that every detail was carefully considered for the success of the program. Understanding the importance of maintaining order and preventing any potential issues, we took proactive steps by distributing access tickets adorned with serial numbers, our organization’s official stamp, and signatures. To ensure widespread participation, we visited residential homes some weeks prior the event, for hand delivery of tickets led by Director of Programmes and other team members following.
In anticipation of the big day, we spared no effort in preparing the necessary materials. Flyers, stickers, and access tickets were made available to procure packages for the occasion. Gifts were carefully to meet the needs of each recipient and bring happiness to their homes.
The Anticipated Big Day is Finally Here, the atmosphere bubbled with lots of anticipation, excitement, anxiety and small talks. Soon enough, our office space was filled to capacity, with additional attendees standing outside, eager to join in the activities. The distribution process commenced with our own beneficiaries being attended to first, followed by our esteemed guests, each one being served in accordance with their allocated ticket number. To ensure the smooth flow of the event, every guest’s ticket was meticulously verified, signed, and marked for confirmation.
Despite the occasional challenge of misplaced or forgotten tickets, we accommodated each individual with grace and understanding, honoring their persistence and ensuring that no one was left out. The joy and excitement that filled the air was palpable as our honorable guests departed for their respective homes, their hearts uplifted by the warmth of the occasion.
